Friday April 6

Got up at 6:30 they’ve got all the boxes up for the first time, one of our small wood boxes had got knocked about a great deal, the currant loaf and biscuits and parlin look very tempting after living on salt pork so much, the wind still keeps good, the distance run 175 miles, there was a great bustle with the boxes this morning.
